“Nikola Brašovan” award

The traditional Svetosava Academy was held in the National Theater “Sterija”, where the prestigious “Nikola Brašovan” awards were awarded for the 21st time in a row to the most successful educators from the territory of the City of Vršac in the field of primary and secondary education. This year’s laureates for the “Nikola Brašovan” award are Ružica Perović, classroom teacher at Elementary School “Jovan Sterija Popović” in Vršac, Dušica Ćirin, teacher of Serbian language and literature at the Agricultural School Vršac and Marijana Golomeić, teacher of Latin at the “Borislav Petrov Braca” Gymnasium. in Vršac After the welcome speech, the mayor Dragana Mitrović presented the awards to the most successful educators in Vršac.

School glory Saint Sava

This year, as in previous years, we celebrated the school’s glory, Savindan. The appropriate program was designed and implemented by our students together with their professors. At the literary competition announced on the occasion of the school celebration, the students of our school of St. Sava won: Sara Kojić (IV3) the first place, Maša Trbojević (I4), Ana Čengeri (II4) and Luka Bućinac (I1) the second place, Anđela Spremo (I4) and Milica Jovanović (I1) third place. Pseudoscience in the media

Student Aleksandra Chebzan Zeman (IV5) won third place in the competition on PSEUDO SCIENCE IN THE MEDIA

The Reason4Health Project team selected 8 of the 63 teams that came to the competition to be awarded.

All submitted papers were carefully read, then an assessment was made that 8 high school students best handled the topic of the competition. These students demonstrated the ability to independently recognize and question various questionable messages about science and health on the Internet, television and other media, they pointed out the consequences pseudosciences for individuals and society, and wrote compositions inspired, logical and clear.
