Romanian National Culture Day

Starting in 2011, Romanians celebrate the Day of National Culture on January 15. This date is the day when the national poet Mihai Eminescu was born
Students of the 2nd grade of the “Borislav Petrov Braca” Gymnasium Vršac, under the mentorship of Professor Marijana Golomeić, organized a prestigious class dedicated to a person of special national importance, the poet Mihaj Eminescu, with the aim of promoting the cultural and artistic value of Romanians.
The lecture was attended by: the consul of the Republic of Romania, Mr. Daniel Balu, director of the high school, Tamara Pešić, professors and students of the high school.
The students handed out bookmarks to the attendees that they had created with their mentor, in order to highlight and encourage the importance of reading habits.
